
SHAKO
Shako Djungu-Sungu, known as Shako, is a French-speaking Afro-Quebecois artist born on January 14, 2004 in Montreal. He developed a passion for music at a very early age, encouraged by his older brother, who played a decisive role in his artistic journey.
Shako is distinguished by a rich musical universe, primarily blending rap, hip-hop, and R&B, while incorporating modern pop and Afro influences. His inspirations, such as Damso and The Weeknd, are reflected in refined sounds and introspective lyrics.
In 2024, he made a remarkable entrance onto the music scene with his debut EP, "Ascension," which garnered over 180,000 streams. This success, bolstered by his signing with Coin Privé Média, marked the beginning of a promising career, where authenticity and creativity took center stage.
With his unique style and strong artistic vision, Shako has established himself as a rising star on the French-speaking music scene.
